Shipping
It is our policy to ship your items as quickly as possible. Orders placed by 12pm Eastern will typically ship within 24 hours; however, some items can take up to 72 hours to ship. We do not process shipments on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.
Items ordered together may not ship together and may not ship on the same day. If your order includes in-stock AND special order, pre-order or back-order items, you may receive it in multiple shipments. Additionally, some items may ship directly from the manufacturer, while others ship from our warehouse. Please note that while an order may be fulfilled in multiple shipments, shipping is charged only once based on a flat fee per order, not per item. Xpresspost shipping is not available on orders that include special order, pre-order or back-order items.
Shipping Time Estimates
We use Canada Post Expedited Parcel as our primary method of shipping. Shipping times may vary depending on location and whether the item is in stock, special order, pre-order or back-order.
In Stock Items:
from 2-7 days within Canada and 3-7 days to the US for items that are in stock. Deliveries to major centres within Canada are: Local 1 business day, Regional 1 to 2 business days, National 2 business days. 3-5 days between major centres in continental United States. Xpresspost is a faster courier option for a flat fee of $20.00 within Canada (1-2 days) and $30.00 to the US (3-5 days).
Special Orders Items:
from 7-10 business days, up to 2 weeks from order placement. Although some special order items are "stock" items (in stock and available for immediate shipping from the manufacturer) we can not guarantee that the item will always be available without delay. We will notify you promptly if shipping delays are expected. We recommend purchasing early to ensure a timely delivery.
Pre-order Items:
as indicated on product page. Please note that the delivery date indicated on the product page is an estimated shipping date. We are unable to guarantee delivery dates for pre-order items due to unforeseen delays by the manufacturers. Please know that we canŐt control the dates that are given to us by the manufacturers.
Back-order Items:
as indicated on product page. Please note that the delivery date indicated on the product page is an estimated shipping date. We are unable to guarantee delivery dates for pre-order items due to unforeseen delays by the manufacturers. Please know that we canŐt control the dates that are given to us by the manufacturers.
Please Note:
- If delivery of a package is refused or returned for delivery failure Gingerbread Monkeys reserves the right to charge the customer for all subsequent shipping charges incurred. Statutory holidays may add an extra day to delivery times.
- Deliveries are made on business days, Monday to Friday, excluding published holidays.
- When sending to more than one destination, separate orders must be placed. Shipping is charged based on a flat fee per order.

Overnight Shipping
Overnight shipping may be available on some items. Please contact us if you require overnight or other expedited shipping not optioned on our site.
Customs & Duties
Your order may be subject to duties and taxes charged by the destination country. Gingerbread Monkeys is not responsible for the collection or payment of destination duties or taxes and is the responsibility of the receiver. We cannot predict what the charges will be as they vary from country to country. For more information on your country's customs policy, please contact your local customs office or contact us and we will do our best to answer your questions.
Product Availability
While we strive to maintain an accurate inventory count, errors can and sometimes do occur. If you purchase an item that is out of stock, we will notify you as soon as possible. At that time you will be given the option of cancelling or modifying your order, or accepting delivery when the item comes back in stock (if applicable).
